our story
It all started with my adventures with words. As a lively child, I would sit on the stairs inside my parents' home in Ottawa reading books, creating poems, and writing stories that I would speak to audiences in the community. I was excited about writing and passionate about speaking the words of God as I journeyed daily not knowing what was next. I then realized the purpose of God in my life as many witnessed God's healing, salvation, and life-changing experiences.
Inspired by the power of words and the encouragement of my parents, I published in community magazines winning multiple speaking and writing competitions. In 2014, I published my greeting card collection, "The Joy Poems", in honour of my late mother Evadney and to inspire families to celebrate life.
I retired early in 2018 as a speaker and writer to devote time to my precious children. In 2020, I heard God say to launch out, and He created this business which has blossomed into a lighthouse to help families and charities across the nations. Inspired by love, I hear my mother's gentle voice say, “Everyone needs help sometimes.” With a grateful heart and this kingdom mission, I am dedicated to help you to flourish, grow holistically , and to write clearly with purpose.
